Finding Peace

I am the adviser to a group of young women ages 16-18.  I love hanging out with these young women who give me hope for the future. Yesterday one of them taught a beautiful lesson in our meeting together at church on finding peace by staying close to the Lord. During her lesson I was reminded of a story that my grandmother told me that illustrates how our position with the Lord depends on our own actions. The story goes like this. My grandmother and grandfather were riding along in their car that had a bench seat in the front. She was sitting next to the window, and lovingly looked over at him and commented, “Remember when we used to sit next to each other when we went riding?” He smiled back at her and said, “I haven’t moved.”
